MEA Trade Mission to Iran is now closed

Due to significant interest in the market and following demand from potential delegates, the Middle East Association (MEA) are arranging a further Multi-Sector Trade Mission to Iran in April 2017

About the mission:

  • This multi-sector Mission (with a focus on oil & gas) will visit Tehran from 22nd to 27th April 2017.
  • Full in-market support will be available for the MEA Mission Leaders who have first-hand experience in doing business in Iran.
  • Delegates will be provided with unique networking opportunities including a vast range of introductions and high level executive meetings.
  • As the mission sponsor, the Middle East Association will be directing the mission programme in-country, which will include a variety of meetings and events based upon the delegate’s requirements.

Benefits of the mission:

  • The programme in-country will be led by the Middle East Association, who will organise a variety of group meetings and in addition a personalised programme per Mission delegate.
  • There will be a mission reception on Sunday 23rd April, which will be attended by a number of high level executives. This provides delegate’s a brilliant opportunity to network with attendees of the reception and amongst themselves.
  • Mission delegates will be advised and assisted in obtaining the invitation required to obtain their Iranian business visa and are offered a specially negotiated group travel and accommodation package.
  • A bilingual mission brochure will be produced, which will advertise each delegate’s company and product/service to potential contacts in-market prior to the mission’s departure.

Who is this mission for:

  • Members, and non-members of the Middle East Association are both invited to join this mission.
  • Mission participants must be British exporters of goods or services. They may be a UK registered subsidiary of a foreign company, provided they are actively contributing to the British economy.
