Following their successful sector Mission to Tehran in September 2015 the Middle East Association (MEA) facilitated a multi-sector Trade Mission to Iran from 28th February to 3rd March 2016.

About the Mission:

  • From 28th February to 3rd March the Middle East Association led a Trade Mission to Iran.
  • This Mission was based in Tehran and met with national businesses, Iranian government officials, and UK representatives in country.
  • The Mission was led by Roger Benge who has extensive contacts in Iran and will provide full in-market support.

  • It is expected that $1 billion will flow into Iran’s capital market, valued at $120 billion within the first 18 months of sanctions being lifted.
